Lightweight baseball and softball turf shoes with a durable multi-stud outsole, developed for training, coaching, warm-ups, and field use with customizable OEM / ODM construction.
This model is designed for baseball and softball environments where players and coaches need more grip than a conventional training sneaker, but do not necessarily need aggressive molded or metal cleats. The low-profile construction and dense multi-stud outsole make it suitable for batting practice, field drills, warm-ups, coaching, travel, and selected game situations depending on the playing surface and local competition rules.
The outsole uses numerous small rubber studs distributed across the forefoot, midfoot, and heel rather than a limited number of long cleats. This creates a broader contact pattern and allows the shoe to move more naturally between dirt, artificial turf, training areas, and harder surfaces around the field. The tread can be adjusted in height, density, orientation, and rubber hardness to balance traction, durability, and walking comfort.
For custom development, the upper material, toe reinforcement, side support structure, collar height, tongue thickness, lacing system, breathable panels, lining, insole cushioning, midsole density, outsole rubber compound, stud pattern, sole thickness, color combination, team or brand logo, packaging, and size range can all be adjusted. The same platform can be developed as a lighter player model, a more durable coaching shoe, or a reinforced training version for frequent field use.
Asahihara Co., Ltd. can support last development, upper pattern adjustment, outsole and stud design, material sourcing, sample making, fitting review, production management, QC, and bulk production follow-up. For this category, the outsole needs to be developed together with the upper so that traction, lateral movement, forefoot flex, heel hold, and overall weight stay balanced.
During sampling and bulk production, key checkpoints include stud wear resistance, rubber hardness, outsole bonding, forefoot flexibility, lateral stability, toe reinforcement, heel hold, stitching strength, and size grading. Traction should be tested on the intended field surface because the behavior of a turf outsole can vary significantly between dry dirt, wet ground, artificial turf, and harder training areas.
